Macalester’s Journey Amundson Nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year
Macalester College track & field student-athlete Journey Amundson has been nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Amundson is one of 619 women across all three divisions to be nominated for this prestigious award. Amundson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Macalester in May after majoring in chemistry. As a senior she received the American Institutes of Chemists Award and the Health Professions Advisory Committee Award. While at Macalester, Amundson also was awarded the Undergraduate Award in Analytical Chemistry as a junior, and the John Howe Scott Sophomore Chemistry Prize as a sophomore. A three-time Academic All-MIAC honoree, she made the 2023 Academic All-District team and received the USTFCCA All-Academic Award five times. Read more.
