Queens Student Hannah Aspden ’22 Wins Gold at 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games
In her second consecutive Paralympics, Queens University multimedia storytelling major Hannah Aspden ’22 just won her first gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Aspden, who is the first athlete from Queens ever to win a gold medal in either the Olympics or Paralympics, finished first with a time of 1:09.22 in the women’s 100-meter backstroke.
